The Joint Venture Design-Build Team of Johnson Bros. Corporation and Misener Marine Construction, Inc. along with the lead designer Wilbur Smith Associates was awarded the SR 46 Lake Jesup Bridge Replacement Project in early 2008. This design-build team brings time-tested experience with award winning high quality road/bridge design and construction as well as successful collaboration experience on similar projects. Of particular note is the Joint Venture of Johnson Bros. and Misener Marine on the Belleair Causeway in Pinellas County, a high-rise bridge replacement project over the Intercoastal Waterway.
