As this project progresses, monthly project status updates will be posted here. Previous monthly updates will also remain available on the project website, and may be found at the bottom of this page. Please check back regularly for project status updates.
October 2008 Project Update
The design-build team has been hard at work to maintain the project schedule. Construction on the bridge is moving forward, and the pile foundation supports for the bridge continue to be constructed this month. Upcoming bridge activities will include the placement of the support beams and casting of the bridge riding surface. The design-build team is also continuing to place materials needed for construction along the approach of the new bridge. The construction of Osceola Road at its new location will continue. Travelers will continue to use the existing roadway but should expect periodic delays. Roadway traffic is being maintained to ensure safe and efficient travel as these construction activities occur.
